Growing Conditions
2019 was characterized by a very dry cycle with precipitations reaching 50% less than average registrations, leading to smaller berries and lower yields due to the hydric stress. Within the traditional regions of Lujan de Cuyo, cooler temperatures led to fresh acidity levels, while small berries help concentrate dark fruit and tobacco notes, and the lack of rain allowed for excellent sanitary conditions.
Aging
French oak casks of 2.200 – 6.000 litres
Harvest
All grapes were harvested manually and selected at the vineyard itself, transported in small 20kg cases to the winery and immediately crushed.
