Carrascal is a neighbourhood in Mendoza were Agustinian monks produced clay amphorae for the transportation of wine between the 18th and 19th Century.
A fruit forward nose based on the blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot gives a youthful character to this wine. Its well defined body given by the ageing of 24 months in oak casks reflects a harmony which makes this wine an argentine classic. Its gastronomic versatility makes it an ideal match for grilled vegetables, barbecue, pasta and various semi-hard cheeses.
